Established in 1980, ARC Matriculation School has been a beacon of educational excellence for over four decades. As the first English medium school in this area, ARC Matriculation School has grown to enroll over 700 students and continues its journey of nurturing young minds. Founded by A.R. Chennimalai Gounder, a man with a vision to make quality education accessible and revered for his simplicity, hard work and perseverance, the school reflects his deep passion for education and commitment to spreading knowledge in the Somanur region in the district of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

In a competitive world, the school stands out by achieving state level champions in Athletics, Chess and Tennicoit.

About Trustees

The success of ARC Matriculation School is guided by a dedicated and visionary team of trustees. Though no longer with us, Mr. R.S. Subramaniam, the former Managing Trustee, remains a guiding force for the school, symbolizing love and honesty in all that we do. Mrs. Vanithamani, the Correspondent of ARC Matriculation School, plays a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s success. Together with the Managing Director, Mr. Sivaramalingam and Mrs. Mythili Sivaramalingam, she provides strategic guidance and steady support to the school. Their collective leadership ensures that the institution continues to uphold its legacy of academic and extracurricular excellence, preparing students to thrive in an ever-changing world.
